Kris Jenner & Bruce Jenner Officially Separate

Kris and Bruce have officially called it quits after 22 years of marriage, the couple confirmed on Oct. 8 — but the family has been keeping it a secret for a year!

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner confirmed in a new statement that after a year of hiding it, the couple are officially separated. The couple got married in April 1991, and for the past six months, have denied rumors that they have a rocky relationship.

While many have been focused on the marriage of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, it appears that Kris’ and Bruce’s relationship sadly has ended first.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the pair confirmed to E! News. ”But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

Kris also told Us Weekly that the famous family have been hiding the split from the public for a year now. She also told the mag there is no plans for divorce at this time.

“We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship,” she told the mag. “There is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family. I will always love him, but we are longer a couple in that way.”

Together, they have ten children. Bruce had four sons – Burt and Casey from his first marriage toCrystie Crownover, and Brandon and Brody from his second marriage to Linda Thompson. Kris had four children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob, all with first husband, Robert Kardashian.

Together, Kris, 57, and Bruce, 63, have daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Kris is reportedly living in their Calabasas home, while Bruce lives in Malibu.

Kris & Bruce’s Problems Have Been Going On ‘A Long Time’

In Touch magazine spoke with Kris’ sister, Karen Houghton, in the Oct. 2 issue, and she was quoted saying that Kris and Bruce “are separated.” She said that Bruce was a “phenomenal brother-in-law” and claimed that Bruce even “sought out a lawyer.”

The mag had also said back in September that the couple had “problems for a long time” and that their relationship is almost all business. Multiple reports had claimed that Kris’ constant bossing around of Bruce was part of the reason for the distance between them.

On this past season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, we saw first hand the effect that Kris’ constant bossing around had on Bruce.

In a conversation between Bruce’s sons Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner, they discussed how they knew that Kris was not allowing Bruce to have a say in anything that goes on in their lives, saying they knew it took more of a toll on Bruce than he liked to admit.

One of the other major problems we saw on the show was when Kris met up with her ex, Todd Waterman, 47, for drinks, creating huge tension between she and her husband. Todd was the man who Kris carried on a long-winded affair with while she was married to Robert Kardashian, so it’s no surprise that Bruce was hurt that Kris would secretly meet up with him.

Currently, it’s not confirmed what the final straw was when it came to officially ending the relationship.

A source close to the couple confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that Kris and Bruce are separated and living in different houses.
